- Collaboratively designing, developing and implementing software solutions for clinical and public health service and research
- Working with other individuals, groups and organisations involved with the development, interpretation and implementation of a National eHealth policy
- Developing interoperable systems that can collect and aggregate real-time routine health data from health facilities to strengthen local and national disease surveillance
- Providing consultancy in development of digital solutions for health service and research needs
- Designing and effecting electronic linkage between clinical databases and the vital registry systems to automate processes of registering births and deaths occurring in health facilities
- Designing epidemiological databases and research systems linking known communities/populations to catchment health facilities to facilitate population-based health interventions and studies
- Supporting the establishment of disease-specific registries by linkage of such registries with point of care electronic medical records to eliminate delayed data entry
- Conducting research to evaluate the impact of eHealth solutions
